One glance at the simplicity of these ingredients and I knew it was going to be a winner. We used flank steak which I marinated for, oh, a skilful 5 or 6 hours. Gave it a quick sear, a nice rest, and then sliced on the bias. We served with avocado, grilled onions, and Pico de Gallo with refried beans and Mexican Rice on the side. Simple, filling and absolutely delicious! Thanks so much for recipe. UPDATE: I just had to pop in to reiterate how much we love this marinade! We go far at to the lowest degree once every couple of weeks. Thanks again!

This recipe has an excellent marinade for the beef. It turned out full of flavor. The only matter I added were big onion slices and red pepper when I was cooking the meat. Omitted the salsa and cheese because the meat and veggies had and then much flavor I didn't think this fajitas needed anything else.

Adept basic lime fajita marinade. If you don't a like lime, garlic, and cilantro combination so y'all shouldn't brand it. Instead get spend a buck on a fajita marinade packet at the grocery store that volition taste similar taco seasoning! The only reason I took a star abroad from the recipe is that if your going to use a proficient cut of beef such as New York Steak, marinate the steak before slicing, grill the steak to your personal preference, and then slice thinly on the bias and against the grain.

I made this exactly every bit instructed, it was just succulent! Served with sauteed strips of red and green bell pepper and onions. I just couldn't have been better. I think it volition be in the weekly rotation of meals.

I made these with tender sizzler steaks cut by our butcher and they turned out neat. The only change I made is omitted he pepper and added chipotle chili pulverization. The flavor was corking.

This was so delicious, simply the flavor profile I was looking for. I used two Due north.Y. strip steaks sliced thinly, marinated in mixture as per recipe, but used but 1 t of cumin - that was the only change in the marinade. After marinating steak in fridge for about vi hours I sauteed the meat in the same pan in which I'd sauteed a sliced ruby-red onion and a yellowish bell pepper. Added fresh cilantro before serving in flour tortillas with shredded jack cheese and sour foam. Omitted the salsa. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

It turned out really expert. I added half an Anaheim chili and half a bell pepper to the mix along with some chipotle seasoning to add together some more kick.

I used skirt steak, marinated information technology overnight then grilled information technology & sliced it. These were the best tasting fajitas I have ever had! Our dinner guests were beside themselves. This is the only mode to make fajitas!

I added 2 tablespoons chili powder to my marinade. I didn't take a fresh lime and so I used 2 tablespoons of bottled lime juice. Use sirloin steaks and broiled them in the oven with an onion cutting in wedges and separated in strips, and green and red peppers cut in strips. I moved the pan close to the flame the last few minutes to char everything a little. Marinating overnight made the meat then tender. Very good!

I fabricated this every bit it was written and it was phenomenal!!! I took the meat out of the pan as soon equally the pink was gone and added all of my peppers and onions to sear, and then threw the meat back in. It was fabulous!

I made this exactly how the recipe stated, I was a little concerned that the meat would be besides tough, just it was good tenderness, I but bought pre packaged fajita meat. Pretty good season, not sure if I would make this once more. I didn't want it for leftovers the next day, but it was alright. I was really trying to re-create Chili'south eating house's fajitas, it was pretty close, but I experience like it needed some different flavors.

Made this tonight. Tasty simply a bit likewise limey... although we didn't marinate it overnight. Good flavour but might exist really good on fish besides. Going to endeavor half the corporeality of lime juice adjacent time.

5+ stars. I marinaded the meat as directed and information technology was delicious. I had 5 hours to marinade the meat and when it was time to prepare supper I cooked the meat in a frying pan until it was almost cooked. I set the meat aside and added sliced red peppers and royal onions to the pan and cooked them until they were nearly cooked and added mushrooms and cooked until they were soft. I threw the meat dorsum in along with that yummy marinade and cooked until everything was warmed and the liquid was absorbed. We dropped a spoonful of this in a small fajita vanquish and topped it with sour cream and shredded cheese and wrapped them up to eat. Wow this is the best fajita recipe I've ever had. I made the changes of adding veggies considering thats the mode we like our fajitas but if you adopt them without it would be fantabulous that way too. I made these fajitas for Cinco de Mayo and felt in that location was something missing in the spicing. The flavor was very mild and not one I acquaintance with traditional Fajitas. It needed some chili pulverization and/or cayenne to spice it.

Really adept. Used ribeye instead of strip steak and wished it would accept been more tender. Marinade was fantabulous. Cooked with onion, red and xanthous peppers. Will make once more.

These beefiness fajitas were super good. I only marinated the beefiness for about thirty minutes on the counter before cooking because I just don't program that far alee. Anyhow, however had delicious flavor. Thanks for a smashing recipe.

This was very quick and easy to brand. I will never use a packaged dry fajita mix again. There was not one bite left in the pan.This is a permanent family unit recipe from now on. Very skilful recipe, but rating the beef lonely (without the cheese & salsa), this recipe needs a little something. I didn't measure out the cilantro (likely 1/4c), but I DID measure out my fresh squeezed primal lime juice -- 2 tsp. I think if sliced bong peppers or sliced jalapeno (seeded or not) were added to the skillet while cooking...this would be worth 5 stars. I used close to a pound of sirloin fajita. (I alive in South Texas, really shut to the border. I'1000 Hispanic & my hubby is fr Mx).

Have been making this recipe for over a twelvemonth now and everyone loves it. Nosotros don't like cilantro in our house and that's the just ingredient I skip from the marinade. Superb flavor! I used fresh Italian parsley instead of cilantro, flat fe steak and flour tortillas. Next fourth dimension I will add some sliced avocado and chopped tomatoes.

I used this recipe for some leftover ribeye steak. I made a pocket-sized corporeality of the marinade, sautéed some onions and peppers and added the marinade, some chopped cilantro and the leftover steak sliced thin to the sauté pan. Sautéed long enough to warm the steak and served as recommended along with pico de gallo recipe from AR and Spanish quinoa in blimp peppers found on AR. Loved by all.

Hands down the best fajitas we've e'er made, wonderful. Added a package of "fajita mix" peppers, onions to the beefiness after cooking it for 3 or 4 minutes and the veggies had wonderful flavor besides. Used the filling for fajita quesadillas tonight, but would get in for ANY reason

This is a terrific recipe! I used stew meat, just what I had on hand, and added a sliced onion and red pepper to the meat afterward it had cooked for 3 minutes. Served with sour cream, avocado and shredded cheese...tortilla chips on the side. Delicious!

It was pretty good. We ended up adding peppers and topped them with Guacamole and Sour Cream. I would advise calculation a bit more cumin to the recipe. Of course that is but how nosotros like them. Information technology is a good recipe the manner it is likewise!

I used sirloin instead of New York strip. Wife doesn't intendance for garlic and not then much onion, but it turned out real proficient. I would brand it again. I partially char-baked the sirloin before cut the strips. That seemed to piece of work well. I would rate information technology 4.5 stars.

This was unproblematic and succulent!! I didn't use cilantro because I don't like it. Sautéed the marinated steak. Removed it from skillet, and sautéed peppers and onions in same skillet. Added the meat back in to heat up. Served with tortillas and refried beans in the side. Yummy!

I made this recipe and doubled the marinade, I used a piece of tiptop sirloin for the meat and marinated information technology only 2 hours. It was quite tasty!! I call back next time, I'd exit the meat whole and grill information technology, then slice it afterwards.

I made ii changes. I used garlic-onion salt. And I used abrupt cheddar cheese. I used my food saver to marinate the meat a couple of hrs. I will be making this again.

This was delicious! Marinated sliced NYStrip steak for 4 hours. I would use 1/2 tsp table salt instead of 1 tsp adjacent time.

This recipe is bang-up simply because of the marinade...which is the nearly important part. Prepared exactly as indicated, and my steak strips turned out succulent! I had low quality steaks that I did non like, so I tried this & so glad I did, the meat was really moist & flavorful. I cooked the meat with crimson & greenish bell peppers, and ruddy onion. My fixings included: Shredded lettuce, fresh tomato, shredded cheese, sour cream. I recommend using corn tortillas instead of flour.

This was fantastic! It was easy to make and very flavorful. I added some lemon juice and some chili powder to the meat. My kids all loved the taste.

I lived in Houston, TX for 13 years and I had my fair Share of Tex Mex food.. These Fajitas are as flavorful equally it can be ! My beef was lilliputian scrap tough and information technology might accept been because of using Sirloin steak instead of New York Strip, or because I simply marinated the slices for couple of hours ? The lime didn't have enough time to tenderize the meat.. I like my fajitas with slices of onions and peppers, so I sauteed some in the skillet and ready aside till the beef was cooked , then I put them back in. Served in tortillas, with homemade guacamole, sour cream and Mexican cheese.
